Why an Online Consultation?
Unable to attend the clinic in person? Need some professional advice?
Our Online Consultations may be the answer for you.
Online Consultations are convenient. They allow you to have your lower limb concerns professionally assessed whilst minimising social contact.
Video consultations are a great option for podiatry consultations. All you need is your phone, tablet or computer, an internet connection and to be in a quiet place for about 30 minutes. Our practice software also ensures all video consultations are secure.
If you do not have access to a device with a camera and microphone we can also provide telephone consultations in a similar manner.

Is my concern suitable for an Online Consultation?
If you have not been to us before we spend time finding out about your concerns, discussing a possible diagnosis, and formulating a plan to assist you moving forward - exactly as we would if you attended the clinic in person.
Online Consultations allow us to assess your concerns and provide you with advice as appropriate.
They help for a variety of concerns, for example:
-
Foot and leg pain
-
Foot deformities, such as bunions and hammertoes
-
Injury advice and management
-
Footwear and training advice
-
Prescribing and reviewing exercise, stretching and
rehabilitation programmes -
2nd opinions
Subsequent to an Online Consultation we can order x-rays or other tests if required and we can provide links to suitable online resources to get you back moving again.

Is it different to attending the clinic in person?
Not in terms of your outcome. You still get the undivided attention of one of our professionals as you would if you came to see us, with the convenience of not actually having to leave your house! The same level of care and professional standards apply.
